New ESG Investing programme launched

The Alex Edmans-led programme guides participants how to use ESG factors to improve investment returns and achieve societal impact

London Business School (LBS) has launched a new online programme, ESG Investing, for business professionals wanting to develop their responsible and sustainable finance skills.

Led by LBS Professor of Finance Alex Edmans, the six-week course equips participants with an understanding of the core tenets of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing needed to improve returns and have a positive social impact.

Participants learn how to invest using ESG principles, key ESG investment strategies and how to navigate complex trade-offs. The course also explores the latest developments in ESG, such as new topics (eg. biodiversity), new data (eg. AI) and new regulation.

Learning is self-paced and flexible. Participants have access to six lives sessions, as well as pre-recorded faculty-led lectures and a dedicated learning support manager throughout the programme. They also benefit from access to a global network of peers.
