Work on your own data science challenge from beginning to end, using world-class theory and searing insights to solve your strategic problem. Your learning is split over three phases:
PHASE 1
Connect and engage | Pre-programme
Take the opportunity to refresh your knowledge and upskill with a range of online assets. Identify and refine your data challenge using faculty expertise during 1-2-1 conversations. Prepare for an intensive, dynamic and transformational week on campus, connect with your peers and begin your collaborative learning experience.
PHASE 2
Learn, apply and challenge | 5 days on campus
Immerse yourself in a collaborative and energetic learning experience in the heart of London. Use a methods-based approach to delve into real-life case studies and hear industry experts discuss the opportunities and challenges data science can bring to your organisation. Learn in a structured environment with high-calibre teaching from world-class faculty to further develop your knowledge. Discover how to use data science tools and methods and apply them to your organisational context and beyond.
PHASE 3
Apply and transform | Online clinics post-programme
Wrap up with online learning clinics when you are back at work where you have the chance to co-create a learning experience with your cohort. Each clinic will focus on a different method where you can pre-submit questions for discussion. These clinics will give you the chance to explore both successes and hurdles of using your new-found methods on your challenge back in the workplace using insights from your peers.
What is the application process?
You can apply to the programme of your choice online. Acceptance is not automatic and your application will be reviewed by our team of Programme Consultants to ensure the best fit between applicants and programmes. Spaces on our programmes can fill up quickly so we encourage you to apply early and ensure your application is as comprehensive as possible.
Will I have to do any preparation before attending the programme?
You'll receive communication from your Programme Manager around six weeks before starting the programme. The information we send will direct you to our online learning platform which will include the programme timetable, pre-programme reading and preparation work, and an introduction to your fellow participants.
Do I need to obtain a visa if I’m coming from overseas?
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and country of residence. We encourage you to use the ‘check if you need a visa’ tool or to consult the UK consulate or embassy in your home country.
This programme can also be taken as part of the Certificate in Management. Enhance your leadership approach, hone your business skills and curate your own curriculum with a blend of online and in-person learning.

We’ll acknowledge receipt of your application by email within 48 hours, if it’s received during normal working hours (Mon-Fri – 09:00-18:00 GMT). We will review and respond to your application within two working days. We do this in order of receipt and acceptance is not automatic.
Yes. We can hold a provisional place for you for up to two weeks, but be aware that completed applications take priority and programmes often fill up several months in advance. You can reserve a place online, by phone or by email.

The programme is taught in English, so a good working knowledge of the language is essential. If English is not your first language, we may ask you for evidence of your proficiency.

The fee for the programme is £9,300.*
The programme fee covers all required study materials, programme activities, as well as refreshments and most meals. It also includes access to a well-appointed gym with a swimming pool. It does not include accommodation.
