Skills programme

An enhanced skills portfolio not only helps embed your learning but also equips you to hit the ground running in your next position.

Skills development is grouped into three strategic areas that map closely to business needs - interpersonal, numerical and digital literacy – and cover a broad diversity of capabilities, from online branding and professional presentation to modelling, excel and programming.

Global Experiences

Our Global Experience courses challenge you to apply your learning in new and unfamiliar contexts, and to have responsible real-world impact. For one intensive, immersive week, you will expand your global mindset and network. Alongside your peers in Graduate Masters, MBA and Leadership programmes, travel to destinations such as Austin, Cape Town, Medellin and Paris.

Each Global Experience is led by expert faculty and explores a topical theme, offering an in-depth view of a country's business culture. You will have the opportunity to interact meaningfully with members of the local business ecosystem, faculty, alumni, fellow students and others in the LBS global community.

No. You’ll need to select which programme you’re applying to at the beginning of your application. If you are unsure which is best for you, please contact our recruitment team on globalmim@london.edu.

The GMiM builds skills suitable for recruitment into pre-experience roles and global graduate schemes in a wide range of industries including finance, consultancies and tech.

What is the difference between the Graduate Masters programmes?
Masters in Management (MiM)
- one-year programme
- for recent graduates wanting a career in business, but who have limited business knowledge and less than two years full-time, relevant work experience.
- build skills and knowledge to perform in all areas of management
Global Masters in Management (GMiM)
- two-year double-degree delivered by LBS and Fudan School of Management
- an immersive and robust business education taught in London (first year) and Shanghai (second year)
- explore diverse cultural, language and business opportunities
Masters in Financial Analysis (MFA)
- one-year programme for graduates looking for a career in the finance industry
- relevant undergraduate degree plus prior finance-focused internships
- gain insight into the finance spectrum through theoretical and practical teaching
Masters in Analytics and Management (MAM)
- one-year specialist programme for graduates looking for a career in business analytics
- core courses in analytics and management combined with technical skills like Python, R, excel and other data-related software
- develop skills to analyse data, develop insights and deliver real value and impact.

Do I have to be on campus to study the programme?

All programme components are delivered in person and we expect students to fully attend on campus whether in London or in Dubai if you are taking electives there.
