London Business School Charles Handy Chair in Organisational Behaviour Herminia Ibarra has been recognised in The Case Centre Awards 2024.

Professor Ibarra won the Production and Operations Management category for her case ‘Jean-Philippe Courtois at Microsoft Global Sales, Marketing and Operations: Empowering Digital Success’. The case, co-authored with Adam Jones, details how Microsoft’s Global Sales organisation, under the leadership of Jean-Philippe Courtois, embraced a culture of learning and leveraged technology to unlock staff potential.

The Case Centre presents awards across 10 categories to case studies that have experienced the highest growth in popularity globally.

Professor Ibarra is a multi-award-winner, with seven of her case studies recognised by The Case Centre Awards over the years. She and her co-authors were presented the ‘Overall Winner’ prize in the 2020 awards for their case study ‘Satya Nadella at Microsoft: Instilling a Growth Mindset’.
