Richard Bland has 21 years’ experience in banking, the last 10 as a rates trader for Deutsche Bank. He joined LBS in 2009 to oversee the banking sector, and now looks after the private equity and real estate sectors.

David Morris is head of technology careers and has been with LBS since 2005. Prior to LBS, he worked within the London startup scene and continues to be active in this space; for example, running the NewCo London festival and being a member of Tech London Advocates.

Daniel Lay has been with LBS for 10 years and is the head of consulting careers. Prior to this, he spent five years at Standard Chartered within their internal strategy group, before heading up corporate engagement at Cass Business School.

Alyona Segline joined LBS from LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics. She is an experienced commercial director who has worked across luxury cosmetics, mass accessories and the FMCG industry. As head of diversified sectors, she develops relationships with employers across a myriad of corporate and social impact sectors.

Kira Hughes has 20 years’ experience, first as a recruiter for a range of corporates, and as an experienced career coach for business school students. As MiM and MAM career lead, she manages a team of coaches to design and deliver the career learning curriculum and to offer career coaching sessions for MiM and MAM students at LBS.

Anne Alaoui has 11 years’ experience as a career coach and supports students towards clarity, insight and action. As MBA career lead, she manages a team of coaches to design and deliver the career learning curriculum and to offer career coaching sessions. She previously worked in financial services including in debt capital markets at Deutsche Bank and corporate finance at KPMG.

Annette Minihan is a career management professional with over 20 years’ experience of working with organisations and individual clients in navigating career transitions. Prior to joining LBS, Annette worked in leading talent acquisition for global corporates and financial services firms, where she was responsible for hiring at all levels across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. She has worked in-house at Merrill Lynch, Société Générale, Tesco and Standard Bank. 

Experience

Paul previously worked as a head hunter, enjoying 19 years of recruiting some fantastically talented people for his clients including Google, EY, Accenture, Microsoft, Xerox, HSBC, Barclays and many tech startups. He then studied, practiced and qualified as a career coach, working with private clients and large corporates alike. He has worked across a number of sectors, with a strong focus on technology, consulting and finance at executive level.

Mhorag joined LBS in 2019 to grow and develop the Alumni Career Centre. She has varied experience across asset management and HR executive search, higher education, and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining LBS, Mhorag worked in the HR Centre of Expertise for global executive search firm Korn Ferry, where she delivered global CHRO searches for a number of global blue-chip clients. Mhorag has also worked in academic research commercialisation, postgraduate skills development and cross-industry employer engagement at the University of Edinburgh. She is a trained coach and acts as a mentor for female startup founders in the London area.

Lusine is an accomplished career development professional with a strong background in finance and a passion for guiding students towards successful careers. As the Career Lead for the Master in Finance programme at London Business School, she designs and delivers the career curriculum, providing comprehensive guidance throughout students' academic journey.

With nine years of experience specialising in financial crime prevention at reputable organisations like HSBC, Santander UK, and Lloyds Banking Group, Lusine brings valuable industry expertise to her role. Since transitioning into leadership and career coaching in 2016, she leverages her finance knowledge and academic qualifications, including an MSc in Organisational Psychology, MSc in Banking and Risk, and BSc in Economics, to tailor coaching strategies and empower individuals to achieve their career goals.
