London Business School’s Masters in Finance (MiF) post-experience programme continues to be the world’s best, according to the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Finance ranking.

LBS’s MiF programme has ranked first in the publication’s annual ranking of Masters in Finance post-experience programmes. It also ranked first in 2020 and 2018. The FT did not publish its Masters in Finance ranking in 2019.

LBS’s MiF alumni experienced, on average, a salary percentage increase of 109% compared to their pre-Masters salary and, despite the challenges of a labour market recovering from COVID-19, 92% of the most recent class received an offer of employment within three months of graduating.

Christian Dummett, Executive Director, Career Centre, LBS says: “We are incredibly proud of our students’ success and of the role our Masters in Finance programme and Career Centre play in equipping our students to reinvigorate their careers – often in new locations worldwide – with increased seniority and salary.

“Their success is underpinned by world renowned faculty research, teaching, experiential learning and interaction with a diverse and generous body of students and more than 45,000 alumni around the globe.”

The percentage of international students at LBS is higher (96%) than at any other school ranked.

The School’s Masters in Financial Analysis, which has been running for four years, entered the FT’s pre-experience ranking for the first time this year placing number one in the UK and among the top ten globally (8). The programme, which balances academic rigour with applied concepts and real-world business exposure, scored 9.7 for overall satisfaction placing the School among the top three globally for average course evaluation by alumni. And it achieved 95% for its diversity of international students.

The results reflect the strength of the School’s finance programmes and Career Centre in preparing its graduates for a wide range of financial careers.
