We have collaborated with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office to develop a research programme on drivers of scale among digital companies in Africa. Company scale is often deemed a yardstick of success by operators, investors and policymakers however, it is difficult to define and challenging to measure – particularly in the context of Africa.
We have collaborated with Dharma Life, a social enterprise in rural India founded by LBS alum Gaurav Mehta to create DL Labs. We have initiated several new research initiatives through DL Labs, with a particular focus on gender empowerment and entrepreneurship activities.

Our goal is to provide balanced and reliable answers to the economic questions that Covid-19 and its aftermath will bring. We make it our mission to make these answers as accessible and engaging as possible. The ECO team are drawn from across the countries and regions of the UK, with a hub in Bristol. By publishing daily articles, videos and charts, we believe ECO can help the public and policymakers better understand the pandemic and the numerous challenges that will follow.

Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) is a Statutory Body created by an Act of Parliament to procure, store and distribute medicines and medical supplies to all public health facilities in Zambia. ZAMMSA formerly existed as Medical Stores Limited but was converted into a statutory agency in 2019 which also brought in added responsibilities.
