Darcy Pu

Darcy is a PhD Candidate in Finance at the London Business School. He will be on the academic job market in Autumn 2023 / Spring 2024. His primary research interests are in asset pricing, with a focus on climate finance, ESG, and meritocracy. He is also interested in financial markets and institutions. Prior to LBS, Darcy earned a BA with honours in finance and economics from Guanghua, Peking University in 2015-2018. During his undergraduate studies, he was an international exchange student at Wharton from January to May 2017 and at Seoul National University from March to June 2018.

During his undergraduate years, he had work experience at several investment banks, a private equity, and a hedge fund in London, Beijing, and Seoul. He achieved LRSM in piano performance with distinction from the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music. The LRSM diploma is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a conservatoire. He enjoys playing the piano and working out in the gym in his leisure time.
