My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: completing the masters applications (creating a narrative, writing essays, etc).

About me: I am Canadian, born and raised in Vancouver. I studied a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and minoring in Statistics at the University of British Columbia. During my undergrad, I took a gap year where I worked in academic research at a hospital and published a paper and I also worked in research and development at a biotech company. While working in the more technical side of science, I became more interested in exploring the intersection of business and science, leading me to apply for the Masters in Management at LBS. This programme would give me a basic introduction to key courses that I need to succeed in my future career and it was a further advantage that the school is located in such a prime location in London. While the programme has just started, I've already learned so much from the classes and the faculty to the clubs and on-campus events. My post-grad aspirations are to work in a business role at a cosmetics or pharma company, combining both of these interests. In my free time, I like listening to music and reading.

Three topics I can be approached about: Moving to London from North America; switching from technical science fields to business; choosing between business schools
