About me: Maya has five years of corporate and investment banking experience spanning across investment banking, coverage and transactional banking. She is currently pursuing her 3rd level of the CFA qualification. Additionally, she completed the Financial Modelling and Valuations Analyst (FMVA) designation from the Corporate Finance Institute. Maya decided to pursue the Masters in Finance to both enhance her financial and technical knowledge, as well as to change career track into corporate/leverage finance.

She has a keen interest in and passion for sustainability/environment, social and governance issues in relation to the role financial services and advisory can play in integrating these factors into decision making. She’s also a member of the Black in Business Club to actively promote the inclusion of women and black professionals in corporate institutions.
