About us: Luis Fernando has seven years of experience working in asset management and global markets.
Before joining LBS, he served as an equity portfolio manager at Peru’s second-largest private contribution pension fund, where his team managed around US$6 billion in both local and global equity investments. His diverse experience on both the sell-side and buy-side has given him with a comprehensive understanding of the varied needs and viewpoints of market participants.
Throughout his professional career, Luis Fernando has acquired five prestigious professional qualifications: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified in Quantitative Finance (CQF), Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). His passion for crafting investment strategies to aid clients in weathering both prosperous and challenging times, along with achieving their financial objectives, ignited his decision to pursue the Masters in Finance programme at LBS, aspiring to fortify his expertise and continue his career in investment management in London.
Beyond his core profession, as a certified life and leadership coach, he is deeply passionate about personal growth. In his free time, he practices transcendental meditation, enjoys swimming and engages in both board games and online gaming.
