About me: Hamad is an accomplished electrical engineer with a wealth of experience in control systems, digital transformation and entrepreneurship and innovation. Over the course of his eight-year career, Hamad has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, both in his academic pursuits and his professional endeavours.

He recently served as the Head of Strategy, Finance and Governance at Aramco’s Innovation and Product Development Center (LAB7). Hamad was responsible for driving the organisation’s strategic direction, financial planning and governance framework. His expertise in optimising scope and cost-effective execution has proven invaluable in the planning and development of capital investment programmes for Aramco projects. He also served as a member of Aramco’s Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB) and the Curator of Khobar Hub, Global Shapers Community – an initiative of World Economic Forum (WEF).

Beyond his work at Aramco, Hamad serves as a strategic advisor to several local NGOs that are focused on empowering youth and community development in Saudi Arabia.

Hamad earned a Masters degree in Engineering Management from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia and a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, US.
