My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Preparing my application essays while working full-time

About me: I grew up in the south of Sweden and completed my undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering and Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. My studies enabled me to not only develop strong technical abilities in math and data science but also to enhance my understanding of fundamental business principles and practices.

During my studies, I gained practical experience in the corporate world through several part-time jobs as well as an internship at BCG. These experiences, and especially my internship at BCG, alongside my academic studies, sparked my aspiration for bridging the gap between data science and business. I realized the immense value that efficient data utilization can bring to the world of business.

After graduating, I embarked on three additional internships in investment banking, investment management and private equity to gain valuable experience and insights into the financial sector. However, still motivated to develop my skills in bridging the gap between technology and business, I decided to pursue the Masters in Analytics programme at LBS. I am confident that the skills the programme will provide me with will be valuable in my future career.

Three topics I can be approached about: MAM programme, LBS application process, moving to London
