My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Deceiding which programm was the right fit for me.

About me: I was born and raised in Germany, but since I was young, I’ve had the opportunity to experience living abroad. I moved to India at 5 years old and lived there for 5 years. During my high school studies, I moved to China to live with a local host family for 1 year. Coming back to Germany after the exchange, I completed my high school education and started my undergraduate studies at WHU in Vallendar Germany. My degree in International Business Administration has provided me with flexibility when choosing modules according to my interest – I have opted mostly for entrepreneurship and operations-related modules.

I completed multiple three-month internships in the consulting sector at Simon-Kucher & Partners (leading global pricing strategy consultancy) and Senacor Technologies (finance strategy consultancy) in Germany. I also explored the start-up world during my previous internships, working at start-ups in the tech and mobility sectors. During my Gap year after completing my undergraduate degree studies, I interned at an Asset Manager for 3 months.

After having confirmed my career in the business field, LBS is the best option to further develop my studies and skills. As a Global Masters in Management student, I will be spending my second year in Shanghai, which will enable me to contrast and understand the differences between business conducts in Europe and Asia. Moreover, true to what it is known for, LBS provides a never-ending stream of social and professional events, enabling me to build friendships and network with a diverse group of very motivated individuals.

Three topics I can be approached about: Moving to London, Master in Management vs. Global Masters in Management, LBS life & community
