My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was: Managing my time and energy between internship, undergraduate coursework, and the application process

About me: Growing up in Singapore, I was exposed to a multi-racial community and an East-meets-West culture. My undergraduate studies introduced skills such as design thinking and project management while collaborating on projects involving various data analysis and visualisation approaches.

This proved useful while interning at Collins Aerospace. Within the Manufacturing Engineering department, I witnessed the breadth and depth of which big data has penetrated various operational and organisational elements. This emphasised the importance of data in the future of corporations.

It was imperative to find the right institution and programme to advance my career aspirations in business strategy. With my ambition to enhance my leadership and management abilities, LBS' Masters in Analytics and Management intersected my goals and interests perfectly while leveraging my STEM background.

Beyond academics, my experience organising events for international students while working alongside them exemplified the benefits of international collaboration. LBS' vibrant community is the perfect example of the possibilities when people from various cultures and backgrounds come together.

As an avid photographer, LBS' picturesque location at Regent's Park has been a great breather after class. Being conveniently located near Baker Street station has also been useful when I am exploring the dynamic city of London.

Three topics I can be approached about: Taking on Business with a STEM Background; Applying for the Masters in Analytics and Management; Moving to London
