Yuri Romanenkov

Yuri is a lecturer, researcher, and consultant on strategy. He has over 15 years of consulting experience supporting business leaders and private equity investors and 10 years of teaching experience at academic institutions around the world.

Yuri’s current teaching portfolio includes roles as Academic Director of Next Generation Digital Strategy at London Business School, and Chair of Executive MBA and director of multiple strategy courses at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (where he was previously the Executive Vice President of Development and Chair of Executive Programmes). Prior to this, Yuri was based in London at Boston Consulting Group and worked across Europe and North America. He also taught undergraduate micro and macroeconomics at Harvard.

Yuri’s core expertise in both consulting and research in innovative business models, including platforms and business ecosystems; and his primary industry experience is in retail, consumer goods, and technology. 

Yuri holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with Excellence from SDA Bocconi (where he studied the effect of the strength of network effects on the resilience of platforms to competitive entry), and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
