Casidhe Troyer

Dr. Casidhe Troyer studies innovation and technology strategy, with a particular focus on understanding how large firms both generate and respond to new technologies. 
She has two main areas of research. First, she studies the the interplay between technology strategy and human capital strategy, examining how technology adoption decisions and outcomes are shaped by how firms structure and manage key human capital relationships. She was named a finalist for the Academy of Management Strategic Management Division’s Outstanding Dissertation Award for her work in this area exploring technology adoption in hospitals. Second, she examines how the demands of shareholders can shape an organisation’s R&D strategy. 

Dr. Casidhe Troyer is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School. She holds a Ph.D. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and a B.A. in economics with a concentration in poverty and human capability studies from Washington and Lee University. Prior to joining academia, she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, specialising in capital markets policy and research.
